The Institute has a vision to become a self-sustained research Institute of international standing. The vision document defines our mission to achieve this goal. Some of the milestones identified to meet the target are :

Securing at least five patents for fundamental works

Secure 20% of our cash flow through international projects

Seek international collaboration projects in frontier areas

Create an Institute Development Fund of Rs.10 crores

Publish high quality papers in journals

Establish Centres of Research

We made a beginning in the direction of creating an Institute Development Fund (IDF) to attain self-sustainability. We do hope that with the dedicated efforts of our small scientific team, we shall be able to achieve this target.
